Master Artist Geert Jan Jansen exhibits from June 24 to August 3, 2007 at Gallery Peter Bax in Sneek. In this gallery Geert Jan shows his own work and paintings and drawings in the style of Picasso, Matisse, Klimt, Degas, Botero, Gauguin, Appel, Pollock, Warhol and others. The opening was conducted by Ton Pret, but in the style of Andy Warhol. With four women the artist arrived in a stretch limo and then signed, in a ceremonial way, a painting of Geert Jan. For example, Andy Warhol asked Geert Jan to - on behalf of him – sign his work. Many art lovers witnessed this return. Or was it a friend’s service...?
