Ton Pret was the winner of the competition of an own exposition room in the 'De Beurs van Berlage'. During the exhibition 'The foreign affairs of Dutch design' of 15 until 21 August 2005 was the exhibition visit able for a large international public.

From the hundred works that was sended since the start of Artworks has the jury selected just twenty-five works that during the competition was marked with the creativity with inspiration of coffee perception and execution.

The twenty-five artists that has been selected have exhibited their work for one evening in the most beautiful and mostly famous museums the world, the 'Rijksmuseum' in Amsterdam.

Exhibition Florence Biennale in the Fortezza da Basso (Italy).
On February 2005 was Ton Pret asked to take a part of the fifth edition of the Biënnale Internazionale dell' arte Contemporanea in Florence in the Fortezza dons Basso (Italy).

Participation at the Biennale can alone with nomination of the International Committee or Critics, consist of a selected number of members from the whole world.

The international art nomination are be holding each year. In 2001 is the Biennale of Florence recognized as official program partner "Dialogue Among Nations" of the United Nations.

The Foundation Sociëteit Oud Leiderdorp organizes shows and gives lecture about art, culture and expositions. The Leiderdorpse Kunstkring organizes monthly an artistic cafe where artists meet each other. The artistic cafe is a place where writers speak and artists hold lectures.
